Southern Twist Designs is owned and operated by Jala Harris. Jala was born in Lake Wales, FL and had the chance to live in almost every area of Florida, thanks to her father’s position in the Florida State Park system. Her family finally came to rest in Apopka, FL where she attended middle and high school. From there she moved to Gainesville to attend college. She holds an Associate of Arts and an Associate of Science in Graphic Design from Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL. From Gainesville Jala and her husband, Todd, moved a little north and made Live Oak their home. Jala loves the small town life that Live Oak offers including the beautiful scenery of the historic downtown to the Suwannee River. Jala enjoys fishing, traveling, spending time with her friends that are spread out all over the world, learning new things, being inspired and anything creative. Jala has many valuable years of experience in photography, mosaics and graphic design and is constantly expanding her skills to keep up with the latest trends and technologies.
